-Increased pad "bite" to reduce fading and deliver exceptional braking performance.

-Slots continually de-glaze your brake pads, thereby improving efficiency and reducing rotor scoring.

-Slotting assists in dissipating water and removing dust, dirt and road grime from the rotor surface, thereby increasing the effective contact area and extending the life of your brake rotor.

-Slotting also combats what is known in the brake industry as "out-gassing", which occurs when gas from the pad bonding agent forms a cushion between the pad and the rotor, which greatly reduces the effectiveness of your braking system.
